Smart Hire

Smart Hire is a new innovation in [[PeopleSoft HRMS]].
Also known as Template Based Hire, both these names sell the concept short. Any Job transaction can be created as a templates transaction.
This can be useful to increase the degree of Manager Self Service and Office Self Service.

A template contains the fields that are available to be edited for that transaction, along with the defaults and validation.

Using row based security, different templates can be available to different sets of users.
